While reviewing the 2011 Horizon Report, I discovered this vision of the future of the book.  Standards for ebooks are still being developed and prototypes created.  As this market is set to explode over the next year, look for Nelson, Coupland, and Alice to evolve and the book to become a more personalized and social reading experience.
